Tonight's dinner: Roasted Chicken Drumstick in Teriyaki Sauce, Asparagus, Mushroom, Stir Fry Rice with Pineapple, Egg, and Onion. One Roast, One fry, 40 minutes. No left over at all!
回来讨好小朋友,上他们爱吃又快捷的碟头饭:照烧鸡腿,烤芦笋,烤蘑菇,菠萝洋葱蛋炒饭。
最好是烤盘一件,开火就一个饭。大小省心。

3/16/13 Fast Dinner: 酥煎猪排,蒸花椰菜红萝卜,生菜蛋炒饭 Pork Chop, Stir Fry Rice, Steamed Veg
Dinner tonight: Pork Chop, Stir Fry Rice, Steamed Veg.
Cook big meat for boys before departure. They love the crunchy and juicy chop, and the very eggy fry rice. Best of all, took less than 15minutes to cook, and waste none ---- egg dip for chops, and stir fry into left over rice.
小朋友喜欢的晚餐。猪排很厚,多汁,又香酥。炒饭放多多的蛋,也添了一点酱油,哄他们开心。想到一次看电视,介绍好像是南美的一国,人人在中国城都爱点的一道炒饭,却是被当地老中老外都唤做“炒冷饭”。太白话太实诚了,却让人顿失胃口。搞得我每次松冷饭时都想到他们那兴高采烈喊着“炒冷饭”的模样。

12/24/12 lunch: Stir Fry Rice & Cabbage Soup 咸肉蛋炒饭,白菜汤
a full pot of rice has been cooked as scheduled, but changed mind to dine out last night. Get to clean out all from my refrig before new year.
Stir Fry Rice & Cabbage Soup.
Kiddos like soft stir fry rice with soy sauce.
Egg, mix veg & home made salted pork. Very yum!
咸肉蛋炒饭,白菜汤
快速的午餐(起得晚,过节的晚餐又吃得早)。那天上好的里脊肉,便宜得让人有罪恶感。一大条,花椒粗盐一点点酒,时间够了,就成了。自家腌的咸肉,肉又香又脆,用起来太方便了。讨好爱鸡蛋的小朋友, 金包银,也有银包金。软软的,很香。
想起以前看过一部纪录片,似乎是拉丁美洲还是南美洲某国,中外老少,行在中国城里谈及喜欢的中国菜,就喊得出 “炒冷饭”。每当我真正炒冷饭之时,就禁不住想,任何食物,太写实的唤名,还真没了情意一般。
