3/16/13 Fast Dinner: 酥煎猪排,蒸花椰菜红萝卜,生菜蛋炒饭 Pork Chop, Stir Fry Rice, Steamed Veg

Dinner tonight: Pork Chop, Stir Fry Rice, Steamed Veg.
Cook big meat for boys before departure. They love the crunchy and juicy chop, and the very eggy fry rice. Best of all, took less than 15minutes to cook, and waste none ---- egg dip for chops, and stir fry into left over rice.

小朋友喜欢的晚餐。猪排很厚,多汁,又香酥。炒饭放多多的蛋,也添了一点酱油,哄他们开心。想到一次看电视,介绍好像是南美的一国,人人在中国城都爱点的一道炒饭,却是被当地老中老外都唤做“炒冷饭”。太白话太实诚了,却让人顿失胃口。搞得我每次松冷饭时都想到他们那兴高采烈喊着“炒冷饭”的模样。
今天的晚餐:酥煎猪排,蒸花椰菜红萝卜,生菜蛋炒饭。

9/11/12 Dinner: Spiced Shepherd's Pie W/Mashed Potato Topping, Steam Veg

初秋的温暖:牧羊人牛肉派, 清蒸蔬菜

Even it's the mid-Sep. You won't feel the steps of fall unless get up early and walk into the lower than 70s breeze.
Let's work on my 1st comfort food this season: Spiced Shepherd's Pie W/Mashed Potato Topping.
My kiddos just love anything from potato. East or west, crispy or creamy. Rather than brown the top w/butter as the traditional way, I spray lots of shredded mild Cheddar to cheer them up even more on this normal Tuesday evening, after all those after school programs/classes/practices...
And our family just love the very moist/juicy version of the pie. Minimum the tomato paste and put more onion for the sweetness.
