Veg for a Good Life 谁不是吃素的 ^_^

We always have at least one big meaty dish for every meal, but at least three vegetables to go with it. BTW, we never call veg as "side Dish" on the table: they are the actors in leader role. I call rice a side in the house, and it could be an option.


尤记得一位好朋友,提到晚上有油炒菜吃,就一副幸福知足的模样:脆脆的,清清甜甜的,好美味呵。
是啊,很多时候,简单生活里,最原味的就是最美好的。





 Here are our most recent daily veg dishes. 每天总至少要三样菜,才勉强过关。












To go with western main course, salad is not the only choice. 伴西餐的也不一定是沙拉。
 
 
 
 


We actually have more 4 vegs per meal. But always have no chance to capture all. 四个菜也会一扫而光。

I like very simple and quick cook during weekday. After all, it's always been a looooong day and dinner needs to get ready within 20-30 minutes. 要说素菜,实在可以很简单的。来看看最简单的省时省事的无脑菜。就是最后一分钟添加,也没有难度。








Only sugar and tomato, peel if you have time. Make sure cool in fridge. Best simple and tasty. 这样的简单的夏天的美味,好容易传到下一代。





Use the best  ingredients you can find, from olive oil, salt, to honey, they polish even the very basic dishes.  这是用蜂蜜替代糖泡的萝卜,可好吃。







Use fresh home-made sauce. Pure and creative make the dish stands out. 烫过的菠菜和嫩豆腐拌新鲜打出来的芝麻花生酱,兑一些米淋。有时候用大酱和米淋也不错。







Anything made from beans can mix the veg dish with charming textures and flavors. 素不一定全是菜,豆制品也很迷人。





Seasonal veg makes our a good dinning conversation of appreciation and hope. 当腐乳通心菜又端上了桌,夏天,已经翩翩然来到啦。
 
 
 
 
 


For Easter BBQ party this year, I prepared two salads: when West Meets East. The Quinoa and olive oil baked carrots make the roman hearts salad a good sale. The seaweed and cucumber salad needs no sale at all: all gone in no time :)
去复活节的烧烤,我也会带素菜。 生菜沙拉配了野米,烤红萝卜,切片红皮白萝卜,果仁,干果,梅子。 鲜海带黄瓜沙拉一扫而空,好的菜,人人爱。
