My hubby's wondering: why there are times I am in and out the kitchen but "cook" things never show up on dinning table.
That's my bonus games. Earlier days, I might whip cream and check what it could look alike while over-beat. Or I might formula my own fragrance diffuser or soap or scrub w/nature essences from my yard and kitchen.
Coconut oil is getting popular recently. To play with a whole big jar other than cooking ---- I'd love to try my own all nature, all organic, heavenly- smelled moisturizer.
I don't want beewax, and an other big jar of short life shea butter will be just a waste 'cause the cold winter is almost coming to the end where I live. Simple recipe always works quite well. I'm no fan to food or fruit scents, but the sweetness of coconut oil here is very light and fresh, lavender is calm and elegant, while Jojoba balances and riches the whole formula.
It works well in cold winter day not only for it's moisturize power, but also because of the temperature trick: coconut oil melts at 76F. Feels very well right after put into palms. I use it on hands, heels, and lips. Without wax, you'll feel your skin absolve it into deep quickly after apply. I also touch up dry ends on hair with this delightfully.
Talking about hair, this is a good choice on just washed hair. The Wet Brush. Never hurts, but detangle well. Lasts long time, and easy to clean.
This is my so-far favorite on dry hair. Mason Pearson Popular Mix. I don't believe it uses any better boar bristles than some others. But the nylon grab my hair so well that the whole brush can guide through full length of my hair smoothly and gracefully. The design on the curve paddle and boar bristle & nylon tufts fit my hair. It does add shine and conditions the hair. However the handle is way cheap: they need to keep the traditional wood handle.
Follow the boar brush at night, to massages the scalp, better choice comes with my daddy's gift. He has been constantly sending me combs made with buffalo horn for years: he believes it's healthy to hair and never has issue on static. I now even holding a good collection on varies colors, shapes, designs. This most-recently gift is a true jewel. It looks and feels alike jade, well rounded and curved tips works magic on my scalp. I love my hair every night, I love my dad: what a wisdom to sending your love through each and every hair.
