I love the aroma of butter and sugar and egg and coffee in my house early weekday morning. I mean, only .... early.... in weekdays.
Breakfast is so rewarding to cook and eat. Simple, nutrition, clean as well。

A Very Berry Crepe for this season. My favorite plate. I like honey for sweet, and powder sugar for décor. All in a sudden cannot get enough blue berry ever since this year.

This is a salty bowl: I used milky turkey soup make the oatmeal. Completely no oil on top. Turns out pretty good: alike congee.

Egg is something we always work with for BF. My quick, and none brain omelet with lots of cheese, chipped squash and toast. Mix of a bit of everything.

I like to work on original yogurt this year. Top w/fresh fruit and honey, taste much better than those flavored one from supermarket. Yogurt w/honey, mango, blue berry, and cereal.

One of my son never gets tired on smoked salmon (neither do I). In a great hurry, supermarket-bought croissant is acceptable to him. 冷熏三纹鱼。我们十分爱它。配了cream cheese很棒。不过始终没有人吃生洋葱。
Cheese sandwich. Now and then they are on request list. I use olive oil rather than mayo. Works just fine.

Open Toast w/Pumpkin Butter Spread and very liquid inside Egg. 开边的三明治当然可以少吃些面。这是抹南瓜牛油酱的,应了秋的气息。
Open Bagel with Egg, Cheese and Veg. 奶酪多过蛋的贝果。
There are times we like some sweet rice in morning. Then rice ball w/Green Bean Paste, Pork Song and sausage. Part of my childhood memories. 要吃糯米,饭团是好选。甜的也不错,我并喜欢添了酸菜的咸饭团。只是小朋友不爱。
And a recent rare request was Fry Rice for BF. I guess I did this for their lunch pack several times, they finally decide not to wait till noon to munch on.... 一大早乒乒乓乓蛋炒饭 ----- 我不是24孝是什么?!
Toast. W/pecan Honey Spread. Mmm....Mmm...sweet! 抹胡桃蜂蜜的面包片。乡下店里的东西就是有诚意。好香,又新鲜,又甜蜜蜜。
Toast w/Apple Butter Spread. 这是苹果牛油哦。不是所有的加了牛油口味的名称的都是放室温的:忘了放冰箱,吃不到一半就坏了。好可惜。
All like chocolaty Nutella. But at least two scare about the calories stay away when possible.... 这些,就不用摆了,是我没心机就上的面包片。红的火龙果并能当唇彩用:在外吃要小心噢。
Of cause when we talk about toast, how can we skip the French toast. It's a good way to kill all slice of bread before weekend. 鸡蛋牛奶煎面包。好吃又方便。还有提升妈妈能干的形象作用。
Cheesy Tacos. 在德州,墨西哥饼是少不了的。

When shows w/aluminum paper, and wrapped, it should be a 5 minute eat-in-car meal because someone wakes late. Not me... 或者cream, egg & ham.
My hubby like big meaty steamed bun. 大肉包子,一个足饱了。
And we have some w/BBQ pork from oven now and then. 烤出来的餐包(叉烧包)。
Both my kiddos love these meat ball w/sweet rice ever since they begin solid food. 珍珠丸子是小朋友们长年的心头好。
I like chewy bread. Like French, country bread, and bagel. But I am the only one in the family. They all dig out the soft part of a bread and throw me the skin alike I was a pigeon....早餐的面包里,贝果是可以排在我的第二位了。
Hot pocket anyone! I am not tiger on their food you can tell... 哄小孩其实是可以很省心的。
Sometimes, after cooking so many and so long, I just sit down when it's finally my term, with a full colorful plate of fruit (of cause I already "tried" their part of BF while prepared, a banner on a country restaurant says "Don't trust a thin chief". Yes, I never ever...). 三两种水果,对我而言是必须,五种,那就有认真工作的态度了。(或者,是又吃人的剩余了?!)
Here, part of our "regular" weekend breakfast. Or Brunch, mostly. How many times I want to announce proudly I LOVE MY BELGIUM WAFFLES. 好吧,到了周末,我也还是有慢慢操持的心的。
And here, my all time best breakfast: croissant, fresh baked, with double running yolk eggs. With Coffee w/Cream. With Fruit. With Family. 除了米粉,这算得上我最喜欢的早餐。想着再过一周学校就放假了。可以认真的慢下来好好做早餐喽!
