3/31/13 Easter Party Tray: Salad, Dessert, home-made pickle

Annual Easter BBQ party in the park. I took the last items on the sign up sheet: salad, dessert, and other BBQ equipments.
Need to do very casual and durable presentation. I have no energy to cook any after such a hash schedule recently. A simple dish means a simple life to me currently.

2/14/13 Valentine's Day Rib Eye Dinner, Roasted potato, yam, cherry tomato, asparagus, Dessert

For decades we scheduled fancy eat-outs for this special meal: no matter how well you know the owner nor booked ahead, there were always wait, busy, crowded, etc.
We were even thinking about the meal tonight while I cooked the breakfast this morning, but made up the mind on the last minute to eat at home.
Turns out very very nice: a true candle light dinner, best steak, tons of veg, endless wine, simple and delightful dessert, enjoy the whole family around,  and a view of my new Valentine's Day gift :-)
